The Department of Nursing at Manchester Met is recruiting a Senior Lecturer in Mental health, on a full time basis. You will be required to work across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to contribute to the Department achievement of its KPIs and the University strategic plan. The Department of Nursing offer a range of education programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. These include programmes leading to registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) in adult nursing and mental health nursing, and a suite of postgraduate/post-registration programmes in nursing and health related disciplines. Our research and knowledge exchange activities focus on healthcare practice, education and policy and underpins our departmental core values of evidence based practice.
We are looking for someone with current registration on the NMC Nurses part of the register sub part 1 as a mental health nurse, experience in the community or acute setting, and an in-depth understanding of recent developments in mental health nursing. You will have a good first degree and ideally a higher degree or equivalent qualifications.
