The Council runs a varied and high-quality programme of online and in-person events.

- Summer Conference 2024, 12-14 June 2024, Marriott, Cardiff
We will have interactive and discussion-based workshops on the Council’s strategic policy priorities. The conference programme will examine a range of issues, from expanding placement opportunities and the impacts of the cost-of-living crisis, to incorporating interprofessional learning into curricula. The event is for Council members only.
Online events focus on areas including academic leadership, research, regulation, and sustainability of the academic workforce. Innovation Month 2024 will take place in May. Programme will come soon. There are also a number of opportunities to virtually network with colleagues at Coffee with the Council.
Members are contacted directly via email with all events information, including programmes, event descriptions and how to register. Reminders to register also feature regularly in the Council’s bulletin. Events are available to all staff in member faculties and there is no limit on the number who can attend from any one institution. Recordings of the events are also made available.
