The Council runs a varied and high-quality programme of online and in-person events.

- Autumn Conference 2024, 15-16 October 2024, Radisson Blu Edinburgh City Centre
We look forward to returning to Scotland for our Autumn Conference on 15-16 October. We will be holding the event at the Radisson Blu Edinburgh City Centre where there will be plenty of space for networking with other members and sharing ideas and best-practice from colleagues across the UK. The conference will be exploring some of the key challenges that the healthcare higher education sector faces and we will be running workshops on REF2029 and collaboration across Tertiary Education. The event is for Council members only.
Online events focus on areas including academic leadership, research, regulation, and sustainability of the academic workforce. Innovation Month 2024 will take place in May. Programme will come soon. There are also a number of opportunities to virtually network with colleagues at Coffee with the Council.
Members are contacted directly via email with all events information, including programmes, event descriptions and how to register. Reminders to register also feature regularly in the Council’s bulletin. Events are available to all staff in member faculties and there is no limit on the number who can attend from any one institution. Recordings of the events are also made available.
