The Division is seeking to appoint outstanding academics to Lectureships or Senior Lectureships in Midwifery to provide undergraduate and postgraduate education and significant support to students on clinical placement and in the academic setting.
The appointed candidate will contribute to the delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate education in Midwifery. Integral parts of the roles involve supporting students in practice and working with placement provider organisations to ensure high quality learning experiences. The appointed candidate will also contribute to other programmes and activities across the school.

The role is offered as either a lectureship (education route or education and research profile) or senior lectureship (either education or education and research profile).
For appointment on the Education & Research role profile, where the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will also contribute to the Division’s research, candidates will have a PhD in a relevant area and research of world-leading or internationally excellent quality.
For appointment on the Education profile, candidates will have a postgraduate degree or an appropriate and equivalent professional qualification with a record of world-leading or internationally excellent research being desirable.
