The Division of Nursing in the School of Health Sciences is one of London’s most established providers of health care education, delivering high quality undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It has a strong portfolio of world-leading research in the areas of child health; mental health care; people with physical health and long-term conditions; acute and critical care; and care of the older person.

The Division works in partnership with service users and carers, alongside health and social care experts and providers, to develop and deliver education and research which shapes future nurse leaders.

The appointed Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will contribute to the delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate education in Mental Health Nursing and associated programmes and activities across the School. The role involves supporting students in practice and working with placement provider organisations to ensure high quality learning experiences.

The appointed candidate will have a higher degree in a relevant health or social science discipline, registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse and a teaching qualification recordable with the NMC or a willingness to achieve one.

Applications from candidates with a PhD and a world-leading or internationally excellent research profile are welcome. They will be considered for appointment as Senior Lecturer and will contribute to the Division’s research.
