We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by delivering, organising and reviewing teaching, assessment and administration processes associated with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and to undertake scholarship to enhance learning and teaching in the Nursing & Health Care School.
The Nursing & Health Care School at the University of Glasgow is consistently ranked as one of the top Schools in the UK for nursing education. At undergraduate level we offer an Honours Degree in Nursing (4 years) and our highly valued graduates have excellent employment prospects. The School also offers a flexible programme of multi-professional postgraduate courses that may be taken individually or used towards a Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Masters degree. We also have a thriving community of postgraduate research students, from both the United Kingdom and overseas.
We welcome applications from candidates registered with the NMC as an Adult Nurse, with a good first degree and/or relevant Masters degree, and holding (or nearing completion of) a Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 12 (PhD) or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area. A teaching qualification recognised by the NMC is desirable.
