The multi-award winning University of Cumbria is a wonderful blend of old and new, founded on a rich educational history with institutions dating back more than 150 years, based at campuses in and around the Lake District and with a recent addition in London.

Having recently celebrated our 10th anniversary, we have a fast growing research reputation, increasing profile and place alongside national and international employers as well as multi-million-pound campus investments and exciting ambitions for the future.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the rehabilitation team within the Department of Health, Psychology and Social Studies. Our focus is pre-registration education of physiotherapists and occupational therapists at Undergraduate and Masters levels on both Fusehill Street and Lancaster campuses. Physiotherapy is based on our Fusehill Street campus where this post is based. We are seeking someone with a clear knowledge of physiotherapy. You will be able to use your experiences to contribute to the education of future physiotherapists on our programmes at Fusehill Street, supporting students to become the best practitioners they can be. You will be joining at an exciting time as the team revalidate our programmes and prepare for their delivery in September 2019.

All new staff members are supported by a mentor, the professional lead for physiotherapy as well as the line manager and maintaining links with clinical practice is strongly encouraged. You will contribute to all aspects of our provision including personal tutoring, module design, delivery and assessment; you will also contribute to our research active department and actively participate in other aspects of departmental and university work.
