About the role
Reporting to the Head of School for Chiropractic, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery and assessment of clinical reasoning using case scenarios within an evidence-based framework. Key to this role will be the ability to work with students to develop the skills needed for clinical decision making in future practice. The post holder will have a comprehensive understanding of the principles of evidence-based medicine and the biopsychosocial model of health with an ability to apply core sciences knowledge to the diagnostic process. Their previous qualifications in healthcare or health science will be invaluable in helping students critically appraise information and arrive at sound clinical decisions.

About the person
We seek enthusiastic and highly motivated academics with relevant qualifications as either healthcare professionals or in the field of health science with an ability to develop students’ clinical reasoning skills. The post holder will have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with prior experience of working in a higher education environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to high quality research as part either through individual publications or as part of a group of staff.
