Edinburgh Napier University is seeking to appoint an External Examiner.
This post is for Independent and Supplementary Prescribing for Healthcare Professionals programme. The successful applicant is expected to provide external examination for this programme which has two cohorts per academic year. Knowledge of post graduate programmes and specifically non-medical prescribing is required and previous experience in external examining is desirable.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified academic staff. The appointment will commence December 2021 and the tenure is for a period of four years until 31St December 2025. All External Examiner appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment. External Examiners are expected to attend Board meetings at least once a year and submit an annual report.
