Closing Date:

Salary Range:

The Institute for Health and Allied Professions at Nottingham Trent University are seeking to appoint an external examiner for the BSc and MSc adult Nursing courses. Nursing is a new course at NTU with its first cohort starting in Sept 20 and the MSc due to begin in early 2023 (subject to NMC approval) so this is a great opportunity to provide critical support to a growing team.

Currently we have 400 students across two years and two campuses, Clifton and Mansfield, and whilst this post is specifically for adult nursing, our students work in field shared modules with mental health and learning disabilities students.

In the BSc, each year consists of three modules that run at different points in the academic calendar, or over the whole year with a variety of modules that aims to prepare our students nurses for the challenges of being a Future Nurse, both theoretically and in practice.

We also run an apprenticeship route for the BSc and proposed for the MSc, so once again this is an opportunity to get involved in helping us shape these exciting courses.

This post requires that you are a registered nurse and that you have some understanding of the current future nurse curriculum.

We would be happy to discuss this role with you, and we will consider working with you if you have limited, or no external examiner experience in the hope that we can help you develop as much s you can help us.
