We are looking to recruit a Senior Lecturer in Public Health. With a track record of excellence in health education spanning almost 100 years, the University of Sunderland is well placed to contribute to the help address the chronic shortage in areas of Public Health specialties in practice in the North East. We have a significant focus on widening access and will deploy our expertise to ensure we recruit students from the communities they will ultimately serve.

As a Senior Lecturer of Public Health you will effectively contribute to the development and delivery of high quality education, training and research in Public Health and related subjects, ensuring provision of a high quality learning experience throughout the full student journey.

The ideal candidate will hold a postgraduate degree in Public Health or equivalent professional qualification or, in exceptional circumstances, has significant experience as a practitioner in Public Health.

You will possess significant experience of delivering teaching and learning in Public Health and related subjects within a UK Higher Education Institution and experience of Problem Based Learning and/or hold significant experience as a Public Health practitioner.
