The £22.3m National Horizons Centre (NHC) is a key part of this mission. The NHC opened in 2019 as a national centre of excellence for innovation and training in bioscience and healthcare, working across the sectors to provide industry-focused training, research and partnerships.
In this role, you will develop and lead a portfolio of enterprise and knowledge exchange activities and contribute to the ambitious research, training and enterprise objectives of the NHC, the School of Health and Life Sciences and Teesside University. With a strong track record of securing funding from a range of sources, including industrial partners, you will support the centre’s rapidly developing work.
We are particularly keen to hear from people who can demonstrate their impact in fermentation, biomanufacturing or bioprocessing (including biologics, cell therapies and or production of cell- or protein-based products),with extensive understanding of the needs of industry.
