The role
We are likely to appoint at lecturer level but in exceptional circumstances may appoint at senior lecturer grade.

Your learning and teaching activities will be focused on contributing to pre-registration nursing and postgraduate programmes. Your scholarly or research activity will be linked to educational innovation and development, or to our world leading research themes: maternal and infant health, people, health and communities.

We welcome applications from people who meet the essential criteria and are particularly interested in applicants with experience in: practice learning; care of older adults; infection prevention and control; advanced practice; acute and critical care; health ethics; leadership.

  • Learning, teaching and assessment and other educational activities;
  • Acting as Advisor of Studies;
  • Supervising postgraduate students;
  • Collaborative and interdisciplinary work;

About you
We are looking for people with experience and skills related to higher education, who can contribute to our education programmes. You may be a registered nurse or have substantial experience of healthcare education and you should be educated to Masters (or nearing completion) or PhD level, demonstrating strong interest and success in education.
You will have skills to support the University’s transformational goals through learning, teaching, assessment and scholarship activities, which aim to provide an excellent student experience.
