Lecturer: Full-time, 1.0 fte – salary range: £37,467 to £40,927 per annum pro rata.
Senior Lecturer: Part-time, 0.8 fte – salary range: £42,149 to £50,296 per annum pro rata.

We are expanding our innovative and dynamic Health Care academic provision within our new School of Nursing and Allied Health at the University of Chichester; this is an exciting opportunity to help grow and shape the future of the Nursing and Allied Health workforce in West Sussex.

In this unique post as a Lecturer for placement expansion in diverse Health Care settings, you will lead on increasing placements through developing diverse placements for Health Care students within West Sussex. This will require significant partnership development across professions, boundaries and systems.

This is an opportunity to contribute to our interprofessional placement learning opportunities at the University of Chichester that includes partnership working across boundaries both internally and with practice partners. We offer fantastic new simulation-based learning facilities that include an immersive learning suite, virtual reality and robotics within our new dedicated building. Our mission is to provide outstanding education for the future Nursing and Allied Health Workforce in a face to face supportive and interprofessional community.

Ideally, candidates will have knowledge, experience and skills within the field of Nursing and Allied Health education either clinically or academically.  This can be a professional development opportunity with support during your contract with us. You will need to be a current registrant with one of the following: Nursing Midwifery Council, Health and Care Professionals Council or Social Work England and have demonstrable expertise in supporting practice learning for professional students.

The successful candidate will need to be motivated, pro-active and engage with collaborative working both as a team and with wider partners. We aim to ensure that we equip our graduates with the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace upon graduation and throughout their professional careers. As such, we not only focus on the acquisition of caring science knowledge, but also on vital transferable skills such as compassionate leadership and robust digital skills.
