We have an exciting opportunity for a registered midwife to join our team!

With either a good honours degree, equivalent professional qualification, or significant practical work experience you will utilise your knowledge to contribute to teaching, research, knowledge exchange, enterprise, and business engagement.

The successful candidate will have the ability to contribute to curriculum development and will be committed to undertaking research, development and/or scholarship to enhance teaching. Up-to-date knowledge, clinical skills and significant midwifery experience are essential for this post. Applicants must hold a PhD, or equivalent doctoral level qualification, or will be willing to achieve this within 6 years of appointment.

The Tees Valley is an enjoyable place to live – in the heart of the North of England’s coastline and countryside, with easy access to Durham, Newcastle and York.
