The School of Health and Life Sciences is now seeking to appoint a Learning Disability Lecturer. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Learning Disability Nurse (RN Learning Disabilities) with significant clinical experience. The successful applicant will contribute to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and have a desire to engage with research opportunities, knowledge exchange, enterprise, and business engagement within the Department of Nursing & Midwifery.

Applicants must be a Registered Nurse (RN learning Disability) with current NMC registration. You must have a First degree and Masters in a relevant discipline/equivalent professional qualification or significant practical work experience in a related discipline. Successful applicants must have completed (or be willing to complete) the University Leadership and Management Programmes. You must also hold or be willing to achieve a relevant Teaching Qualification normally within two years of employment i.e. PGCHE/Higher Education Academy (Associate Fellow/Senior Fellow) accreditation.
