We are seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Primary Care to join our successful and highly committed team and further enhance our rapidly expanding multi-professional MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) programmes (direct entry and apprentices) and our General Practice education delivery. Previous experience of teaching and leading is highly desirable and your application should detail your areas of clinical/teaching experience and expertise. We are looking for an individual with expertise in Primary Care. Part-time and Secondment arrangements will be considered.
The Department provides high quality, research-rich education using a variety of innovative teaching and learning methods delivered at all academic levels from undergraduate to doctoral study. You will be expected to facilitate teaching, learning, and assessment, and engage in student support for our MSc Advanced Clinical Practice and General Practice provision.
The post holder will also work flexibly as part of a team to contribute to teaching, learning and assessment and research to support a high-quality student experience in both pre-registration and post-registration health programmes. You will participate in the planning, designing and development of undergraduate and postgraduate health programmes, as well as pastoral tutoring. You will provide expertise to further enhance research and entrepreneurial activities. This will include undertaking individual and collaborative research that demonstrates impact and involvement in external activities which may include academic enterprise.
You must possess excellent knowledge of the subject area and have active professional registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), General Pharmaceutical Council (GPC) or General Medical Council (GMC). You must hold a Master’s degree in a related area or be qualified to Doctoral level.
