The School of Nursing & Health Sciences offers a diverse range of undergraduate and post graduate short courses and awards as part of our post registration provision for nursing and allied health practitioners. Due to the end of tenure, as well as new developments, we are seeking 2 external examiners whose role will be to monitor the quality of coursework, externally moderate assessed work and complete an annual monitoring report. They are also required to provide comments on any proposed modifications and the development of new modules within their area of expertise, as well as identify areas of good practice.
For our established NMC & HCPC approved non-medical prescribing programme, you will need to be a registered non-medical prescriber.
The candidates will ideally be an experienced external examiner but those seeking a first position who have extensive educational experience relevant to healthcare education would be considered.
All applicants must be at senior lecturer and above.
Full course details and documentation will be provided to the appointee with an induction on appointment.
The post is for an initial period of 4 years.
