We are seeking a Clinical Manager of Podiatry Services to support the clinical activity at the Leaf Hospital in the heart of Eastbourne, which provides the base for the clinical experience our pre-registration podiatry students need to complete their degree programmes, treating both NHS and private patients.
Your role will be to support others and encourage their ideas and perspectives, and prioritise effectively to support strategic and operational delivery of a community podiatry service. You will be working alongside your service colleagues to provide operational and clinical leadership within a community Podiatry team which focuses on managing patients who present with a range of foot disorders in support of the podiatry education provision. You will oversee and lead a team of clinical and administrative staff, planning the delivery of the podiatry service to meet the needs of patients, students and the wider community. In order to be successful in your new post, you should have:
- Healthcare business expertise, with proven and compassionate leadership skills.
- The ability to promote and work within a culture of innovation and improvement.
- Experience of facilitating learning in a clinical environment.
- A Comprehensive working knowledge of NHS podiatry service provision
This post is full time – 37 hours per week and fixed term until September 2024 initially. The post is based at our Eastbourne Campus, however, following the prospectus for change consultation the podiatry courses will be taught on the Falmer campus from September 2024.
