We are expanding our innovative and dynamic Nursing academic provision within our new School of Nursing and Allied Health at the University of Chichester; this is an exciting opportunity to help grow and shape the future of the Nursing and Allied Health workforce in West Sussex. Our successful BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing course is already recognised by the NMC for academic quality, innovation and close partnerships to healthcare and wider sectors in which our graduates work.

This role is to support the learning for Nursing students in all processes involved during their clinical placements or via learning and teaching within the university in specific areas. The post holder will work closely with the placement learning unit and as part of the teaching team on a sessional basis as agreed.

These are integral posts to continue to support the expanding professional practice learning opportunities for Nursing students, in bridging the gap between learning in a clinical placement capacity and within the academic setting. We offer fantastic new simulated based learning facilities that include an immersive learning suite, Virtual Reality and robotics within our new HEALTHONE building. Our mission is to provide outstanding education for the future Nursing and Allied Health Workforce in a face to face supportive and interprofessional community.

If you are looking for a new challenge in an expanding environment with hours that suit your lifestyle, we want to hear from you. Ideally candidates will have knowledge, experience and skills in supporting students in practice and/or academically.  This is also a professional development opportunity to enhance your teaching in a developing capacity both within academic courses and for partners, you will have the opportunity to undertake a professional teaching qualification as part of this role. You will need to be a nurse registrant with the Nursing Midwifery Council with current contemporary experience in the UK with some experience of supporting student learning.
