We are expanding our academic team at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle to continue to provide high quality, research-informed teaching and to accelerate the aspirations of our Maternal, Family and Infant Research theme, which is led by Professor Mary Steen. We are seeking candidates with a breadth of experience in the field of Midwifery who have made contributions to one- baby- at- a- time and/or one- publication-at- a -time and now want to make a contribution to more than one student at a time!

The Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is one of five departments within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. We are a thriving community of academics and support staff who are committed to empowering each other and students to be the best they can be, and ultimately improve the lives of people within our local, national and international reach. We are seeking knowledgeable and skilled individuals, with current NMC registration as a midwife, to join our successful and highly committed team.
