Would you like to make a real difference? The Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is one of five departments within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. We are a thriving community of academics and professional support staff who are committed to empowering each other and students to be the best they can be, and ultimately improve the lives of people within our local, national, and international reach. We are seeking knowledgeable and skilled individuals to join our successful and highly committed Adult Nursing Team.

The Department provides high quality, research-rich education using a variety of innovative teaching and learning methods delivered at all academic levels from undergraduate to doctoral study. You will participate in the planning, designing and development of undergraduate and postgraduate health programmes, as well as pastoral tutoring. You will provide expertise to further enhance research and entrepreneurial activities. This will include undertaking individual and collaborative research that demonstrates impact and involvement in external activities which may include academic enterprise.

You must possess excellent knowledge of adult nursing and have active professional registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), You must have a Master’s degree, or equivalent in a related area or be qualified to Doctoral level. You need to have subject expertise in adult nursing with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice, or consultancy.
