Birmingham City University is one of 7 English Universities being funded by Health Education England to develop and deliver an on-line pre-qualifying registered nurse (Adult) course.

Consequently, the School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking to offer visiting lecturer contracts of up to 315 hours per year for experienced nursing academics to take on an e-tutor role for our blended learning MSc in pre-registration nursing.

E-tutors will be expected to create modules in line with the approved programme learning outcomes, with academic and technological support from our existing course team, embedding content into our Moodle platform and contributing to the development of new on-line learning activities. Our e-tutors will also support the students as they work through the course

Ideally you will be an experienced nurse academic with an interest and skills in e-learning and the flexibility to support an e-learning model of education.
