The School of Health Sciences, within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Nottingham, is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for our BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme.

This programme is accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). 2. External examiner responsibilities, regulations and requirements:
a) Responsibilities:
External examiner responsibilities include external moderation of assessments, completion of an annual monitoring report and attendance at Examination boards (at least one per year). The School uses an electronic marking system. External examiners are required to make use of the system during the external moderation process.

All appointments are subject to candidate(s) meeting the University’s criteria for appointment.
c) Requirements:
Applicants must have the relevant academic and/or professional qualifications to at least the level of the qualification being externally examined. Professional registration is required for this role.
It is preferable to have previous experience of external examining although support and guidance can be supplied for those new to this role.
The appointment will start immediately and will be for a period of four years.
