The Coventry University Group offers a leading approach to teaching and learning in higher education. It offers a range of vocationally relevant higher education courses as well as a portfolio of professional qualifications delivered both face-to-face and on-line. We aim to deliver student education, which is active, social, applied and inclusive.

Peoples Future Limited is a dedicated subsidiary within the Coventry University Group and is looking to appoint Teaching Fellows (full or part-time) in Nursing to contribute to the provision of nursing simulation teaching within the School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health.

One of three schools in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is the largest School and delivers undergraduate and post graduate courses for a range of health professions including; nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practice, and most recently diagnostic radiography. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Advanced Clinical Practice and Non-Medical prescribing. Coventry is ranked in the top 10 for 12 of the 44 subject tables it appears in, and 5 of which are within the School including nursing which is ranked 6th in the UK (Guardian University Guide 2023).

It is intended that these teaching Fellows will support the increased provision of simulated practice learning hours within the pre-reg nursing curriculum, including the interpersonal communication skills (ICS) simulated practice learning and Virtual Simulated Placements (VSPs). Therefore, we are looking for individuals with expert clinical and facilitation knowledge and skills to allow for simulated practice learning hours to be delivered.

Applicants will need to be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration in the United Kingdom.
