Applications are invited for a part time, fixed term Teaching Fellow with experience of teaching operating department practice to health science students. The successful applicant will have a sound background in operating department practice and will have registered status with the Health & Care Professions Council. The successful applicant will contribute specifically to lecturing and delivering practical classes including the use of simulation in part-task training. Applicants should have an Honours degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent qualifications and clinical experience. Experience in the use of computer-aided learning, directed self-learning, small group work and facilitated problem-based learning would be an advantage, as would the ability to teach some aspects within the broader area of healthcare.
