We are recruiting for a Specialist Trainer/Assessor – Nursing & Health, who will work within our Health and Social Care Education and Training team here at Weston College.
Due to continued expansion, and to support our ambitious plans, we are looking for passionate individuals to inspire the next generation of Healthcare professionals.
Our outstanding team deliver education and training from short-courses to Degree-level, working in partnership with local NHS Trusts and Primary / Social Care providers across the region with this role focussing on the development of an expanding Apprenticeship provision in Healthcare and Nursing.

As a Specialist Trainer/Assessor you will support our Apprentices who are enrolled on a range of accredited programmes through teaching, training and assessments.
These sessions may take place at one of our college campuses, through Microsoft Teams or in the workplace of the Apprentice. As you will be expected to observe and assess learners within their place of work, a full driving licence and transport is essential.
We are open to applications for both part-time and full-time hours for this role. The minimum hours per week for this role would be 18.5 hours up to a maximum of 37 hours.
Many of our existing team have moved into roles with us from a clinical background, so if you don’t have any formal teaching experience, but you are passionate about training and supporting the next generation of Health and Social Care professionals, we would be delighted to meet you.
