We are seeking an Advanced Clinical Practice Educator or Advanced Clinical Practitioner who is active on the NMC or HCPC register, to join our highly regarded Advanced Clinical Practice Team in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Southampton. You will be joining a vibrant academic community, with a long-established portfolio of postgraduate education. We are recognised nationally and internationally as a centre of educational excellence. We have strong collaborative partnerships across the southeast and nationally, with a commitment to influencing policy development and the strategic direction of Advanced Clinical Practice and its underpinning educational development.

You will facilitate teaching, learning and assessment, provide academic guidance to students, and support clinical supervisors in practice. You will have a commitment to excellence in the development of future Advanced Clinical Practitioners. You will be challenging, innovative and creative, using these skills to further advance the delivery of the programme, and to further enhance our national and international reputation as a centre of excellence for postgraduate education. You will have the opportunity to work with highly experienced academics to support your own ongoing development in the field of Advanced Clinical Practice.

Ideally, you will have considerable experience of working in a higher education institution and will have been involved the delivery of an Advanced Clinical Practice programme. However, we are also keen to hear from you if you are an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Consultant Practitioner or similar, working clinically but with proven educational skills and experience. Ideally you will hold a PhD or Clinical Doctorate, or be working towards such a qualification.
