We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and ambitious physiotherapist who have a range of experience of working across diverse settings within the UK.

We will support you to use your knowledge and experience to grow the future workforce of physiotherapy; work alongside our large team bringing together creative and innovative approaches in learning and teaching within our pre-registration courses including apprenticeships.

You will provide academic and pastoral support to our learners across BSc and MSc courses. Depending on your experience and prior level of study, there will be the opportunity to contribute to pre-registration and post registration education and new course innovations.

You will be joining the Physiotherapy curriculum team to design and deliver learning that enables learners to develop the core skills, knowledge and behaviours to be a Physiotherapist. For the Senior teaching Fellow post applicants should demonstrate an excellent understanding of physiotherapy practice/education within a UK context and be able to demonstrate research and evidence-informed practice within that area. We are keen to develop specialist pathways within our provision and build expertise in Cardio-respiratory and Neurology in particular.

At Senior teaching fellow level, applicants should be able to demonstrate a high level of expertise holding a higher degree in physiotherapy or related subject and be registered with the HCPC and have experience of working in HEI or practice context of the UK. Experience of teaching students, either within a HEI or as a highly experienced clinical educator, would be advantageous. You will work alongside the team to lead and embed new and evolving learning technology and design to support engagement in learning to enhance our learner’s leadership skills, person centred approaches, evidence informed practice and digital capabilities for the future.

The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual. The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for those who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification.
