We are seeking a Registered Children’s Nurse active on the NMC register to join the Children’s Nursing Team in the Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health at the University of Southampton. The team is experienced, friendly, and supportive and is enthusiastic and committed to developing the Children’s Nurses of the future.

You will be involved in the delivery of our nationally recognised pre-registration BSc (Hons) Children’s Nursing, Masters of Nursing leading to registration as a Children’s/Adult Nurse or Children’s/Mental Health Nurse, and MSc/PgDip Children’s Nursing programmes. You will have an exceptional understanding of issues facing contemporary clinical practice in Children’s and Young People’s Nursing. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for outstanding nurse education and has a dynamic vision for how education and research can transform the care of children, young people and their families.

Ideally, you will have educational experience and have completed a Masters level qualification. However, we are also keen to hear from Children’s Nurses who have a passion for teaching students and would like to develop a career in education. We are also keen to hear from Registered Children’s Nurses who have interest and/or experience in research.
