This is a unique part-time research post which will be based in the research Centre for Computational Science and Mathematical Modelling at Coventry University. The Senior Research Support Administrator will provide high level of professional administrative and research support service to the Coordinating Partner, Coventry University, and will collaborate with an international consortium on an EU Horizon2020 funded research and innovation project ‘Citizen Scientists Investigating Cookies and App GDPR compliance’ (CSI-COP). The candidate should have a relevant degree and be interested in online data-privacy. The post-holder will be ambitious and have innovative ideas and a great interest in engaging members of the general public in raising awareness of the human right to privacy online. The role would suit an individual who is committed to advocating privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default websites and smart phone apps to protect children’s data. The candidate will be excellent at explaining details in a simple to understand way to a wide audience, including to citizen scientists and lay people (the general public). It would be an advantage to speak a European language in addition to English.
