About the role

Are you a healthcare professional with experience in delivering resuscitation and an in-depth understanding of resuscitation standards?

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resuscitation Lead at Staffordshire University.

The postholder will have a focus on enterprise and be responsible for growing and managing our external portfolio of Life Support Courses including eALS, ILS, PILS, iLSi and GIC as well as some First Aid Courses and other CPD provision.

The post holder will manage and develop the resuscitation provision within the School of Health Science and Wellbeing as well as across the wider university. They will provide specialist knowledge, expertise, and training in all aspects of adult and paediatric resuscitation as well as first aid within the university.

The Resuscitation Lead will be responsible for helping to develop and implement a comprehensive programme of education designed to ensure our academic staff are prepared to deliver life support related training to our students. The postholder will ensure standards are maintained across all the Nursing and Allied Health programmes.

The post holder will be a registered healthcare professional who is experienced in delivering Advanced Life Support training and is registered as and RCUK instructor.
