Would you like the opportunity to be play a pivotal role in the development of Occupational Therapy provision within the School of Nursing & Allied Health at Newman University Birmingham? We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy educator who is student focussed, approachable and willing to contribute to the development of Newman University Birmingham’s portfolio and vision of Allied Health and Nursing programmes. Candidates should be motivated by designing, delivering and evaluating pre-registration Occupational Therapy programmes, be ready to take on the challenge of being a programme lead, and have an up-to-date knowledge of occupational therapy education, standards for education as well as a wider in-depth knowledge of healthcare policy and practice in a variety of settings. Commitment to creating an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and everyone is afforded equality of opportunity is essential. Applicants will also need to demonstrate that they have either a recognised teaching qualification or HEA fellowship or a willingness to work towards this. Applicants will need to hold current HCPC registration and be committed to maintaining this.
