The Department of Social Sciences at the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer (Grade H) in Criminology who will also assume the Programme Leader role to lead the development, organisation and day-to-day delivery of the criminology provision, ensuring high academic standards and quality of learning experience.

The successful applicant will join a successful, supportive and dynamic criminology team with a strong commitment to research and the provision of excellent student experience. The post-holder will be expected to make a contribution to the undergraduate teaching provision alongside their programme leadership duties.

The post will be based in the interdisciplinary Department of Social Sciences within the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences. The criminology team at UWE Bristol is multi-disciplinary and our students benefit from a diverse range of expertise, pastoral support and innovative approaches to teaching and assessment as part of our vibrant learning community. We are deeply connected to our city and region and collaborate closely with employers and stakeholders to ensure that our curricula remain current, topical, and relevant to societal needs.
