As the Department of Health at UCB expands its offering of pre-registration nursing programmes, we are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to be the Programme Lead of our Nursing Degree Apprenticeships (Adult and Mental Health).
The successful applicant will join a team of nursing academics, assessors and employer partners in the delivery of our Nursing Degree Apprenticeship programmes. You will have a leadership role within the team, including helping to develop the curriculum and supporting the lecturing team to monitor apprentices’ progress, from their enrolment onto the programme through to graduation.
As a Senior Lecturer, you will have experience of working in nurse education and will have a particular interest in how apprenticeship programmes can be used to enhance the nursing workforce and will have a key role in liaison with our employer and placement partners.
You will be a nurse or midwife with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and hold a degree in a relevant healthcare subject. Additionally, you will be hold or be willing to work towards a post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject.
