Salary: Grade 10 from £61,929 to £65,537 per annum inclusive of London Weighting (pro-rata if part-time)

Brunel University London is seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer (Education) for the Apprentice Nursing Associate programme, from NMC registered Nurses into the Division of Nursing. We are currently a leading provider of Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) provision, and have recently expanded the portfolio of nursing programmes to include the Nursing Associates (apprenticeship) programme and direct-entry Registered Nurse degree programme. The primary purpose of this post is to undertake the role of leading the delivery and development of the programme; enhancing the apprentice and employer experience. The post holder will be expected to lead the programme, teaching within classroom, simulation based and virtual learning settings. You will need to be able to lead and manage a small team, communicating effectively, and working flexibly and meet deadlines.

We seek individuals with the vision, ambition and academic capacity, to provide leadership in the discipline of Nursing, and to contribute to Brunel University London continuing to grow as a centre of excellence both nationally and internationally in nursing education and research.

Applicants must have experience of the delivery of high quality teaching, for Nursing Associate students, ideally within an apprenticeship scheme. Experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level is essential. Applicants will also be a registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
