Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy including the role of Academic course leader MSc (preregistration) Physiotherapy

The School of Health and Social Care is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced academic to take the lead in the launch of the new MSc (preregistration) Physiotherapy programme. The post holder will be a highly skilled academic with an interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. You will have extensive academic experience, with a strong background clinically.
The academic course leader will lead and champion the course, providing academic direction. Working closely with the Academic Subject Leader (ASL) you will provide leadership on teaching, learning and assessment at a course level, ensuring a transformational learning experience for students.
The University offers both BSc and MSc routes into Physiotherapy. The innovative curricula has been designed to develop the physiotherapist of the future. The courses have been co-produced with key local stakeholders to prepare a sustainable physiotherapy workforce for Gloucestershire and beyond. This post also offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the School of Health and Social Care forward with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable health and social care workforce for Gloucestershire in collaboration with our strategic healthcare partners.
You must be a Physiotherapist registered with theHealth and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold a first degree in Physiotherapy and have or be working towards a postgraduate qualification.
