Part Time 0.8 fte or full time Permanent Contract: 29.6 – 37 hours per week. Salary: £45,585 to £54,395 per annum (pro-rata if applicable)

About this role:
We are seeking a Senior Lecturer to join our innovative and enthusiastic nursing academic team on a permanent basis focusing on driving our nursing simulation based learning activity within the co-ordination of our professional preparation for practice modules activity.  This role offers opportunities for subject area leadership for professional learning within our cutting edge, contemporary learning environment alongside team management, teaching, quality assurance compliance, partnership working, research and income generation in the School associated with our courses.

About you:
You will have the knowledge, experience and skills to enable contemporary contribution to all of our teaching programmes and research portfolio. You will need to be a NMC registrant in good standing as a Registered Adult Nurse, have demonstrable contemporary clinical knowledge required for Nursing Adults in a range of care settings, a HE teaching qualification (Associate Fellow or Fellow) OR willingness to undertake the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education within an agreed timeframe. Ideally you will be educated to Masters level and have demonstrable evidence of delivering simulation based teaching, learning and assessment of nursing students.

We will commit to education and development for the successful applicant which will include attending the Association of Simulation in Practice Health care conference this year.
