An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our established team, as the Course Leader / leading on delivery (dependant on experience), for our MSc Advanced Clinical Practice course. The course runs twice a year, with self-funded/funded and apprenticeship routes, across our campuses in West London (Brentford) and Reading (Berkshire). The postholder will also contribute to the development, management and delivery of modules relating to the adult that is acutely or critically ill, focusing on advanced clinical skills including history taking/physical examination/clinical reasoning and prescribing.

This post is available as a permanent post (full time/part time) or as a secondment opportunity (FT/PT). Application will be via the UWL jobs portal. The successful candidate will have advanced practice knowledge and clinical experience in the specialist area of adult clinical practice, within a UK context. They will have a minimum of a degree qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice and a range of experience of teaching and assessing students.

Those applicants who currently do not hold a formal teaching qualification will be expected to undertake this upon appointment.

Candidates should demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, other academics, clinical practitioners, and with our support and technical staff.

Candidates must hold current registration with the NMC or HCPC.
