Senior Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice (1.0 FTE)
Full Time, Permanent (part time or job share will be considered)
Salary: £46,491 – £53,326 per annum, pro rata

About the role
Reporting to the Head of School, the successful candidate will contribute to the design, and delivery of the institution’s new postgraduate framework, specifically the Advanced Clinical Practice and First Contact Practitioner courses. They will lead on the practical skills and theoretical knowledge development of healthcare practitioners within the framework as well as contribute to undergraduate education in the areas of history taking, physical examination and diagnosis.

About the person
We seek an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated UK registered health professional with a relevant qualification at Masters level. Candidates would be expected to be HCPC or NMC registered professionals with a strong clinical knowledge and relevant experience. The successful candidate should be very familiar with the advanced practice and first contact landscape in order to actively contribute to the development of these courses.

The successful candidate will be research active with a history of publications or have thorough clinical experience and a willingness to become involved in research and knowledge exchange projects. They will be an excellent role model for students and staff alike and support other staff members in their academic development. They must maintain their own development as a regulated healthcare professional and educator and be committed to providing a high-quality experience for students on pre-registration, post-registration and CPD courses within the School’s portfolio.
