Background
The Department of Nursing in the School of Health & Psychological Sciences is one of London’s most established providers of health care education, delivering high quality undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It has a strong portfolio of world-leading research in the areas of child health; mental health care; people with physical health and long-term conditions; acute and critical care; and care of the older person. The Department works in partnership with service users and carers, alongside health and social care experts and providers, to develop and deliver education and research which shapes future nurse leaders.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate education in Children’s Nursing and associated programmes and activities across the School.

Person Specification
The postholder will have a higher degree in a relevant health or social science discipline, registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Children’s Nurse and a relevant teaching qualification. The postholder will need to have extensive academic and teaching experience in this field and can lead on, and develop, our current Child Health Nursing provision.
