About you: We are seeking an enthusiastic, inspiring individual to join the School of Health and Social Wellbeing senior leadership team. The successful candidate will join a visionary school to fulfil our aims and contribute to our continued success, and will be dynamic; adaptable; innovative and creative.
The successful candidate will work across the School holding a key leadership role. Accountable to the Associate Dean for Health, Social Care and Partnerships the role holder will have School wide accountability for Practice and Simulated Learning. Practice learning, simulated placements and simulated learning are a contemporary part of our programme offer across many of the eighteen professions within the school and an area for further development in the school. As part of the School’s Senior Executive team, the Director for Practice and Simulated Learning will help to lead the development of the School’s values and positive culture and develop and deliver a strategy and plan to address specific issues relevant to the achievement of the School’s ambition for practice and simulated learning, working in partnership with local health and social wellbeing providers.
Applicants must be registered with a health or social wellbeing regulator. Ideally, individuals will hold a masters degree.
This post is based at our Glenside Campus.
