Are you a self-motivated individual, capable of working independently and as part of a dynamic research team? We are seeking a Research Assistant for 0.5 fte for 12 months to contribute to an
externally funded project that will evaluate a new MSc Pre-Registration in Nursing programme which launched in September 2021.
The project aims to evaluate the MSc Pre-Registration in Nursing Programme, which is an accelerated route aimed to meet the government agenda to increase the nursing workforce as outlined in the NHS Long Term Plan and People Plan. The project has been funded by the Strategic Support Fund. The main tasks that the research assistant would be required to undertake would include: (a) Synthesising the literature (b) Developing an evaluation tool including outcome measures for participants of the programme involving key stakeholders (c) writing a report and article for publication.
A masters degree in a health related subject is essential as well as experience of report writing, publishing in academic journals and undertaking research.
