The Division of Adult Nursing and Healthcare is seeking to appoint a progression/programme external examiner for the following programmes:
- Diploma of Higher Education Operating Department Practice
- BSc Adult Nursing / BSc Honours Adult Nursing (new programme)
- BSc Honours Nursing Studies
- MSc Adult Nursing (new programme)
- MSc Nursing
The School Boards of Examiners (SBE) consist of groups of programmes within a Division. The overall responsibility of an SBE external examiner is to ensure that each candidate for a particular award is considered impartially and fairly in accordance with University Regulations and guidance, and that the standards of the University’s awards are maintained. The external examiner will be expected to attend meetings in person or remotely.
We are looking for an experienced senior lecturer or programme leader/manager who has prior experience as an external examiner with a good knowledge of University regulations in relation to degree awards.
The appointment will be with immediate effect for up to 4 years.
Full details of the programmes will be provided to appointees and an online induction will be provided by the University following appointment.
