We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our nursing leadership team in the Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery.
This permanent appointment is to lead, primarily, the pre-qualifying Adult Nursing programme in Oxford. The Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery supports prequalifying programmes in Adult, Child and Mental Health Nursing, with Adult nursing also offered at our Swindon Campus.
The School also offers a wide range of post qualifying provision. We strive to offer contemporary curricula underpinned by research and Oxford Brookes hosts the Oxford Institute of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Research, supporting multi-disciplinary health care research. Through the school, we work in partnership with a number of local NHS and PVI partners.
This post offers the opportunity to continue to develop and expand our pre-qualifying nursing education at Oxford Brookes.
The post holder also has the support of a deputy programme lead and both an established and growing team of staff.
The successful applicant will lead the programme management of adult nursing with a focus on enhancing the student and staff experience and fostering programme growth and standing in the wider professional community.
