We are seeking an academic leader who will actively contribute to the strategic development and management in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery.

As Subject Group Leader for Midwifery you will have well developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues in the subject area, a proven track record of leadership within a higher education setting and extensive experience of NMC approved curriculum design and delivery.

Excellent people management skills including the ability to establish good working relationships and manage potential conflict effectively are essential. The ability to network effectively with a range of stakeholders and develop external visibility is also essential for this role.
You must be a registered midwife with evidence of continuing professional development.
