The Three Counties School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking an outstanding academic to join its Senior Leadership Team. The appointee will be appointed as a Principal Lecturer on a permanent basis with the title of Head of Department – Midwifery being conferred for three years in the first instance. Professorial title could be available for appropriately qualified individuals.
The Head of Department will play a pivotal role in leading the Department of Midwifery within the School and will support the strategic priorities in learning and teaching, student experience, recruitment, progression, retention and research.
The successful candidate will be a proven leader, with the ability to motivate and influence others through collaborative working practices. The post holder will have an established record of excellence in teaching, learning and research, with demonstrable experience in quality assurance.
