We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our truly collaborative department of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Nutritional Therapy in the School of Allied Health and Community that offers a range of other highly successful courses at Foundation, Undergraduate and Post Graduate level in Healthcare, Paramedic Science, Physicians Associate, Social Work and Nutritional Therapy. You will be instrumental in enhancing our shared learning provision in Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy; our courses run in parallel facilitating truly inter-professional education for a growing number of occupational therapy and physiotherapy students in the university. Our team teach collaboratively across shared and profession specific modules at all academic levels, and you will be expected to share this philosophy

You should be an experienced healthcare professional, with a passion for collaborative working and student professional education. Responsibilities for the post include acting as module leader and teaching on both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy courses, especially the inter-professional modules at BSc and MSc levels. We expect and encourage all staff to participate in a variety of modules in occupational therapy and physiotherapy, according to professional experience, and to contribute to other disciplines as necessary.

The post holder will also play an active role within the School of Allied Health and Community, which may include involvement in the Foundation Year and / or CPD activity. The wider College of Health, Life and Environmental Science has an exceptional reputation for excellence and the appointee will further develop the quality of our provision. In addition, you will be expected to engage in research and/or scholarly activity to enhance your professional and academic development.
