Liverpool John Moores University is looking for talented, passionate and visionary individuals to join its rapidly growing nurse education team. This team was the proud winner of the 2020 Student Nursing Times Nurse Awards (Best Student Experience category) and offers outstanding nurse education from undergraduate to Doctoral level.
This is an exciting time for nurse education in the University, with unparalleled expansion in student numbers, significant investment in resources and a growing reputation for innovation and excellence. As a result, the university is looking to appoint lecturers in Adult Nursing. We aim to become a beacon site in immersive learning and the use of simulation and therefore we welcome applicants with a background in adult nursing and those with experience or a desire to use innovative approaches to learning and teaching such as immersive learning and simulation.
You will be enthusiastic and driven to improve the lives of patients, their carers and their families. You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, educated to Masters Level and have significant experience within the relevant field including experience of teaching/supervising nursing students. You must also be committed to providing the very best student experience.
Appointment within the salary range above will be dependent on significant experience in curriculum design and delivery, as well as a doctorate or demonstrable equivalence in professional experience and status.
