About the role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and innovative First Contact Practitioner (MSK) to work with us at AECC University College delivering both First Contact Practice clinical services and our FCP educational provision. Leading a team of FCP educators and clinicians, you will take forward the ongoing development and delivery of the FCP taught route, FCP portfolio route and associated training.

This role is integral to our ongoing growth as a Health Sciences University and clinical services provision alongside our brand-new integrated rehabilitation centre. In the clinical services you will provide a range of services for patients focusing on FCP services. This role will need to have a view to growing services for student provision and experience and within the commercial sector as well as providing an NHS contract for FCP. Ensuring a person-centred approach is vital whilst contributing to the health and well-being agenda and being flexible to meet demands of cross site-working and some extension of hours to meet primary care needs expected. This role will come with the opportunity to be fully supported to complete our PG Cert in Health Science Education and fellowship with AdvanceHE.

About the person

We seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced First Contact Practitioner and MSK Advanced Practitioner to join our academic and clinical teams to undertake this new and unique role. The successful candidate will be passionate about the delivery of First Contact Practice in Primary Care and developing the FCP workforce, supervisors and working in partnership with leading clinical organisations. You have an ability to foster student learning and development, excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. You will deliver FCP clinical activity working within and supporting our growing clinical team within our Integrated Rehabilitation Clinic.
