Within the expanding School of Sport & Wellbeing, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, collaborative, high performing member of staff with a background in Health and Social Care or closely related area to contribute to our health-related programmes (e.g., Health & Social Care; Masters in Health & Well-being, the latter being an online programme).
You will have expertise and experience in and be able to contribute to the teaching of a range of health-related subjects. You will deliver curriculum covering contemporary health and social care theory and policy, health and social care leadership and skills, and their application to the fast-changing health and social care world, as well as an ability to contribute to some related areas of study, in particular management, leadership, and people management, and at masters level if suitably qualified and experienced. Therefore, a background in Health & Social Care would be particularly beneficial.
Applicants should be a graduate in a health-related subject, hold a relevant master’s degree, ideally be a member of a relevant professional body and have relevant experience in health and social care, public health and/or health promotion.
In addition, you will provide pastoral and subject student support, supervise projects and placements, and undertake administrative and managerial tasks associated with the above. You will also undertake research/knowledge exchange and/or professional practice and scholarship commensurate with the post to which you are appointed.
